Where were Da Gmen on saturday?

The Ravens had a hellva night saturday against the giants, at m&t bank stadium. The emphasis on this game was on the offense, even though they still had a problem with fumbles in the early part of the game. 1WinningDrive: Flacco hits Heap over the middle for a
13-yard TOUCHDOWN. Illegal contact on defense doesn't stop Heap, who shields a defender on his back. Now I gotta this is Todd Heap I haven't seen for awhile, but yet he hasn't been healthy either. 1WinningDrive: Mark Clayton has a mild concussion after taking a big hit. His return is doubtful. It was a hellva hit that Mark Clayton got.
1WinningDrive: CB Chris Carr comes up the middle to
sack Eli Manning at the 2-yard line. That was a loss of 11 and almost a safety. This is just one of the key plays that the defense had done during the game, believe me offense wasn't the ones having a good night.
1WinningDrive: Haruki Nakamura comes up with one of the
craziest interceptions you'll ever see. That will be on Sports Center's Top 10 for sure. This was one catch you to see for yourself. Imagine the ball bobbled in the reciever's hands, and then Nakamura landing on top of the reciever and then coming up with the ball. Here is the first half stats for Joe Flacco: 1WinningDrive: Joe Flacco finished the first half 20-of-32 for 220 yards, two touchdowns and one interceptions. That's good for a 90.6 QB rating. In the second half Joe Flacco was in for one set of downs.
1WinningDrive: Marc Bulger enters the game with 9:12 left in the 3rd quarter. Flacco was 21-for-34 for 229 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT. That's a 89.0 QB rating. Flacco's stats when he left the game for the night. Jim Harbaugh's comments at halftime on the first half:1WinningDrive: RT @duffstar: Harbaugh on 1st half: "We were sharp in the no huddle, and we ran it on a good tempo w/o penalties." #Ravens. Impressive first half. In the 3rd Quarter Marc Bulger only played one series of downs as well, And then Troy Smith had played the remaining part of the game. T. Smith 8 completions 11 attempts 71 yards 1 touchdown 0 interceptions. Plus, I also video highlights as well.

4 Places Bedbugs Hide -- and How to Avoid Them.
user

by Healthy SELF, SELF Magazine, on Thu Aug 26, 2010 7:42am PDT25 CommentsPost a CommentRead More from This Author »Report Abuse.. By Jenny Everett, SELF magazine

Bedbugs are all over the news -- and apparently, they're all over these 15 cities. Number one on the list? New York City -- SELF's home base! They've been found in office buildings (thankfully not ours!), hospitals, hotels, theaters and even the Empire State Building. And the bloodsuckers hide in mattresses, furniture, clothing ... blech. Is anyone else suddenly itchy?

But it's not just NYC that's being bitten -- bedbugs are a growing problem nationwide. According to the National Pest Management Association, bedbug-related calls to exterminators have jumped by 81 percent in the last 10 years and 57 percent over the last five years.

The good news is that unless you have serious underlying health issues, the critters aren't likely to make you sick. Still, they gross us out. So we asked Missy Henriksen, Vice President of Public Affairs for the National Pest Management Association, where bedbugs hide and what we can do to steer clear. The top spots:

IN HOTEL ROOMS...How to avoid the suckers: If you are traveling, thoroughly inspect the entire hotel room before unpacking, including pulling back the sheets, inspecting mattress seams, checking behind the headboard and examining sofas and chairs. If any pests -- or potential evidence of pests -- are spotted, change rooms or hotels, pronto. If you do change rooms, DO not move to an adjacent room or one directly above or below the infestation. Bedbugs are hitchhikers and can move via housekeeping carts, luggage carts, luggage and even through wall sockets.

IN DRESSING ROOMS...How to avoid the suckers: Bedbugs have proven to have fabulous fashion sense -- recently, they've been found in several popular retail stores. When trying on potential new items, be sure to hang your clothing on hooks rather than lay them then across the cushioned seats in the dressing room or on the carpeted floors.

As much as you want to wear that adorable new top immediately, resist the urge and wash or dry clean it first (bedbugs can't withstand temperatures higher than 113 degrees). This minimizes the potential that you'll bring a bedbug home with you.

ON CRAIGSLIST...How to avoid the suckers: Do not buy used furniture, especially bedding or upholstered items. If you absolutely MUST have a vintage something or other in your home, find a bug expert who can inspect it for bedbugs or eggs (shudder).

AT THE OFFICE...How to avoid the suckers: Several prominent New York City offices have been shut down in recent weeks thanks to bedbug infestations. To keep your workspace pest-free, keep clutter to a minimum, vacuum frequently (keep a hand-vac in your cube, if possible) and inspect any packages or deliveries that come your way.

If you do suspect you've been bedbugged, contact a licensed pest professional to ID and treat the problem. As the National Pest Management Association says, this is not a DIY pest.

The ravens vs the redskins

Wow just got finished watching the Ravens,Redskins game. Pretty good game through out until the second half, or the fourth quarter exactly. At that time thats when the redskins decided to fall off in the game, they were playing through out most of it. Even though the Raven's were beat them to death accourding to the score board. Donovan Mcnabb actually did pretty well for the redskins I liked that. Most of the veterians on the team other than Haynesworth. But again when Haynesworth came in the game thats when everything for the redskins started to look bad for them. Now on the other end. The Ravens looked good in my opinion not to many penalties, but yet a few fumbles other than that the ravens looked good. I want to point some plays and comments made during the game that I want to comment on. Redskins LB London Fletcher wanted no part of Ben Grubbs on a
screen. #Ravens successfully hitting their RBs through the air like last year. Well I didn't expect that to really change from last year as long Flacco could get them goin down the field, to score. Anquan Boldin shows exactly why the #Ravens signed him. Leaping catch in traffic and holds on while taking a shot. Ravens in the red zone. thats the stuff that makes Anquan Boldin who he is today and why he is a great key to the ravens offense. Terrell Suggs is having a great night. I have no idea how Donovan McNabb held onto the ball. Suggs will take his first sack of the preseason. Hopefully, there will be alot more where that came from Terrell Suggs this year.
Fake punt by the #Ravens. Direct snap and a rush of 51 yards by
Haruki Nakamura to the 1. I don't think they pulled that out all last year. Harbaugh pulling something new out of his hat of tricks for this season. I would have to say that was at least on of the best plays of the game.
Big-time hit by Dawan Landry in the secondary. That's what he's
best at. Breaks up a first-down pass. No doubt about it.
#Ravens CB Cary Williams gets his second interception of the preseason. Williams making a very solid statement to get a big role. Someone to watch for during the season if he makes the cut before the season starts. The sloppy play continues for Baltimore's first-team offense.
Exactly what I was saying earlier in the blog that they making alot of fumbles in the game, something every team in the NFL could work on. Joe Flacco finished 9-of-16 for 72 yards. No touchdowns, no interceptions. Marc Bulger is at the helm now. Not a bad night for Flacco at all, he might not of gotten any touchdowns, but the good thing is no interceptions at all thats a pretty night to me for preseason. Donte' Stallworth coughs it up. Third fumble tonight. Hopefully, Donte' is not goin to have alot of those this season. Nasty hit on Albert McClellan. That should have been a flag.
Nasty is definitly the word for that hit but of course no refs saw that play. First quarter stats: Joe Flacco 4 for 7 25 yards 64.6 rating; Donovan McNabb: 5 for 12 96 yards 70.1 rating.
Not bad stats for both quarterbacks. Rookie David Reed makes a very nice leaping grab. That's what we saw during OTAs. Reed's on the bubble - that will help. Another rookie to watch out for. Marc Bulger has the #Ravens driving here. Bulger is looking much sharper than he did against the Panthers last week. I always did like marc bulger when he was in st.louis. I glad that the ravens did pick him up for the season for a back up. Another rookie to watch. Jason Phillips is having a great game. Notches a sack/strip/recovery. Also has been great on special teams. Phillips is another bubble guy. Troy Smith is in at quarterback and scrambles on the first play. Joe Thiesman said it best when he said that Troy Smith is the equivalent to Micheal Vick in Philadephia. Marc Bulger went 13-of-16 for 130 yards, good for a 100.5 QB rating. Great performance out of Marc Bulger tonight. Now some comments from the Ravens coaching staff, and players Jerry Rosburg on the fake punt: ""Haruki [Nakamura] made the plays on the fake punt. A guy jumped in the hole, and Haruki made him miss." Offensive Coordinator Cam Cameron: "Our ball security has to be
better." Ken Hamlin shows his playmaking ability. Picks off Rex Grossman
when the Skins were in the red zone. First off I gotta say great play from Ken Hamlin on that play, but here is another thing, Ok the redskins and coach mike shannahan had made some good moves for their themselves in the off-season but I can definitly say that Rex Grossman was not one of them. With Rex Grossman when he was in Chicago he showed that he was an up and down player one week he would be the star of the game, next he would be the loser of the game very in consistent player. Fabian Washington: 'I felt great. I got to fly around, make a play here or there. I'm happy with it.' And the wrap up of the game stats #Ravens defeat Redskins, 23-3. Baltimore's defense forces 3 turnovers & the offense racks up 144 yards on the ground & 253 through the air. A small injury report I believe Todd Heap getting an x-ray. No one is really sure on why though.

Raven's first pre-season game here in Baltimore

Well the first Raven's pre-season opener is in the books. Not a bad considering that it is pre-season. Mostly of the starters that had started looked pretty good even the new starters Bolder, ans Stallsworth even some the rookies looked as well. Read some of the other blogs to read some of the highlights that I liked in the game as well. So next week the Raven's will play in the battle of the beltway game against our ravels the Redskins looking forward to that one. Regardless if it is a pre season game. I'm not going to mention the caowbay's game against Oakland I wasn't watching but according to the score and some highlights it sounds like a ugly game to watch so I passed on it.
Not a bad win for the ravens looking for next saturday against the redskins.

football is here!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone It's duece again, Just wanted to let everyone know this is something new that I'm gonna start doin here on Blogger. I'm a big football fan. And I'm most of the time, I will be bloggin alot during football season. Also, I'm a Dallas Cowboy's fan, also a Baltimore Ravens fan as well. If you have a problem with the teams that I like o well get over it!!! But also I'm a football fan as well, so I do like football in general as well. So on that note lets start off with the first pre season game of the season (HOF game) Cowboys vs. Bengals: The game I must say was pretty boring thru most of it. Two field goals was the only scoring that was goin on thru out the game. And to note it was dallas that had scored them. Both on defensive plays. So thank god when the 4th quarter had rolled around and about 5:00 minutes left in the game. Dallas had scored again but this time it was a touchdown, so thank god for that. Making it 16 to 0 but suprisingly enough the bengals made a touchdown as well within 30 seconds left with I must say carson palmer's sorry brother jordan I believe thats his name finally threw a touch down in the game. But I guess you would eventually after being put in the game from the 2nd quarter to the end of the game. But all and all it was the 1st pre season game of the year so I can't really say but to much about it other than every team has to get their kinks out during this time frame before the first official game really starts in september. So until thursday on espn I'll most likely will be back to talk about those ravens. So until then later.

having a real great friday afternoon.

Hello everyone sorry that I haven't been posting any new blogs lately. To be honest with ya there hasn't been really anything to blog about till really today. It really all started with my dad waking me up this morning about getting the tags off of my repossessed navigator (if whoever is reading this that knows me and this situation then I don't need to explain myself, but for everyone else I don't feel like getting into the story it takes too long to tell and explaining myself which I don't want to do.) So anyway, getting up and heading out to where the truck was also, did I mention that I had to take my dog (sneaky) with me as well. The only reason why I don't like taking my dog with me is because she gets car sick. So anyway we all went out to the repo place to pick up the tags. Everything went well with that no problem. Next me and my wife had to go to the baltimore county court house in towson,md. To get my daughter ready for school(she's going into to pre-k this year. Again another story that I don't wish to explain as regards to why we had to go to the courthouse, again if your reading this and you know me personally and know the situation then I don't have to explain myself). So that went fine as well, so me and my dad and my dog was going home, and was anxious to eat when he found out that he had a nail was in his rear back tire of his car, so we had went to BP gas station, to find out that there mechanics were gone for the day, then we had went to Shell right next door to find out as well that there mechnics went home for the day as well. So the next place was Mr. Tire right down the street those two gas stations. But to find out that we had wait we were told an hour and a half to two hours. Remind you that it is right around 4:30 to 5:00 p.m rush hour traffic. And I was hungry, Sneaky(my dog) was drulling everywhere in the car, and she already had thrown up twice as well. So I wasn't really happy about this time. But we had waited and everything got done(thank god). So I came home cleaned out my dad's car which wasn't as bad as I thought. But by the way, I took a shower and I hope right on the computer to do my blogs and everything, so now about this time dog decides to piss in my room while I was in it. So like I said this day was only getting better. So that was everything that had happened to me today, but other than that what have I been doing like I said nothing really exciting at all, I have done a couple remix projects for a tv show but don't know if their going to be used or not will have to wait and see. Hey for anyone that like to shop on amazon.com check out my cd that I have on their link on this blog to check out my cd Bmore Underground there check it out. Now I haven't forgotten about what I normally do in regards to downloading my new tracks. a> href="http://www.zshare.net/audio/79085551499124cd/"> I hope that you enjoy it. And as usual please let me know what you think about it.
