Jenkins Not Worried About Being Picked On

When Houston lines up on Sunday, they may want to see if they have a matchup to exploit that otherwise wouldn’t be an advantage, since cornerback Mike Jenkins has been hobbled this week with a knee injury.

But despite being limited in practice, the third-year cover man doesn’t expect Matt Schaub to go at him too much, even when matched up against All-Pro wide out Andre Johnson.

“I just don’t,” Jenkins, who was a Pro Bowler last year himself, said Friday. “They’re going to come out with their same game plan. I don’t think it’s just going to be one of those things where they try to pick at me, because if it is, we’re going to have a good day.“

While Johnson has been dealing with an ankle injury of his own, Jenkins is still expecting a challenge.

“He’s real good,” the cornerback said. “I think he’s the best receiver in the league.” http://ow.ly/2JGcN
