Ratliff To Return On Friday

The Cowboys will likely spend their two busiest practice days this week without All-Pro defensive tackle Jay Ratliff, who is in Georgia to attend the funeral services of his grandparents, who dies in tragic house fire last week.

With advice from his father, Ratliff stayed with his teammates last week and played Sunday against the Bears. He then flew on Jerry Jones’ private jet to be with his family members in Georgia.

Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips said he fully expects Ratliff to be back with the team on Friday.

“Football is important,” Phillips said Wednesday in his press conference. “But there are more important things than football. I told him to take all the time he needs.” http://ow.ly/2JG9W
