Sweep your mind

Look at everything related to the task at hand that isn't organized in any way. Put it away, either digitally or physically, so your mind can be freed to focus clearly on your project or problem.
This is something that I always have to do when it comes down to writing for the novel. Most of the time I have all these ideas but yet I have made organization changes, along with putting it away so I can later put it in some kind of order so I can keep the story and the ideas flowing. But in general this is a good idea as well, no matter what you're doing in life.

Ask why not?

Ask yourself why you aren't doing something. How is what you aren't doing affecting the project or task you're working on?

This creative ask you a question, which ask you why not? Meaning, why not do this?, Why not do that? It's just asking why can't you do anything in regards to your project, or problem that you are currently working on.

Think big to small

Look at what the smallest, simplest solution would be for getting back into the flow right now. Then use your imagination to come up with the largest solution. Plot where you would like to be on the chart and get started.
My way is similar to this but my way of looking at it would be. Think of the biggest result that you want to happen in your current idea, or project. And then break it down to the smallest and see what you get of it. And also try to see what you can and can't except as a result. And asking yourself what is you can and can't except. I'm pretty sure that you can either rethink everything and get another idea, or even have a better idea. The result might be better, but not as big. But see what happens and find out for yourself.
