Seek a question

Instead of focusing on trying to find a solution to your situation or problem, ask questions about it. The more you explore through questions, the more likely you are to stumble on a good idea.

Asking a lot of questions about your own problem should, and realize, and breakdown everything. And seeing you own nuts & bolts, all this should give you a chance to analyze, break it down and then solve everything from there. Again once realizing what the problem was. By asking yourself a lot of questions.

The simplest solution

No matter how complicated your problem or project is, focus on finding the absolute simplest solution. It's important, however, to not confuse finding the simplest solution with simplifying your entire problem.

So actually thinking of the simplest solution to the road block in your problem, or even the project at hand. Don't find something that's gonna make the entire problem, just the roadblock. And then work your way up from there.

Re evaluate

Ask yourself: "Should I really be focusing on this?" Doing so allows you to adjust your focus and see outside of the overall goal or objective of what you're doing, which can sometimes be foggy.

Re evaluate everything that you do. In regards to any project, or any problem that you come across. Look at what your focus is and try to stay true to throughout the project, or problem that you are trying to solve. Anytime that you feel that you are straying away from it, or take a break from it for a while. Always take notes during the process before you had to stop for anything. And this will be very important to you when it comes to looking back at the progress that was, or even being made for the project, or problem that you are trying to solve. So now since you have taken notes and everything, then look back and then re-evaluate everything and see if what you are doing is in the right track, or even on the wrong track. At least this way you, or even your co workers, or who even is working with you in this problem, or project that they can see what your thought process was, or is and then help you out the rest of the way if needed.

Focus on the really difficult parts

Magnify the really difficult parts of what it is you're trying to do. If you look at them close enough can you see ways to make them easier or to get past them?

This is one of those creative ideas where you may have to take some time to do. Cause you may have to look really close to what you have and really narrow down, or even research for solutions to whatever the problem may be.

Act it out

Imagine that you are your problem. Ask yourself questions such as: "How might this idea act if it were a real person?" Or: "If my current situation were to take on a physical persona, what would it do during a typical day?"

Imagine taking the problem all yourself, and asking  yourself what would you do if you, yourself is the problem. And what would you do to solve the problem that your having with a person, or group of people or whatever it may be. And see how everything works out.

Break it down

Look at each of the attributes of your problem, one by one. Breaking it down into small pieces allows you to look at each attribute individually, and helps you to discover areas of your problem that you weren't looking at.

Disect your problem, and analysis each and everyone of them and see how each part of your problem plays out. Also see what the ups, and downs of your problem. And break it down in parts, clouds, or however you want to break it down. Also at the same time it may also make you see the real creativity that you have.
