Heyku 13

20130905-005118.jpg

I was just having a good, quiet time with my girlfriend while we were both off from work, and found the motivation to clean up the house a little bit today. Most of the day was watching tv, and sleeping in while the kids were in school. And very happy with my decision for being with her.

Sketch

Use your artistic abilities, or lack thereof, to sketch something on a sheet of paper. It doesn't matter what you sketch, drawing can make you simply feel creative, and also helps you physically see ideas.

Ok if you don't have any artistic skills in drawing, you can at least draw a diagram of what course of action you would like to have, or do to perform, or even to achieve your goal. Meaning that you can still sketch out what you are thinking.

Heyku Post 1

20130823-055240.jpgThis is a new piece that I want to start called Heyku Posts. Well this is from a new app that I have found through in iTunes app store and it is called heyku where you go onto the site and you can freely write your own heyku of you own, or the app can guide you through it. And when you're done with it. In the above picture is what you will come up with. So I would like to start sharing them here on my wordpress blog site. So please leave comments and let me know what you think. Also, I will also shed some light on what all these heykus mean while I was writing them. In the first line "No one will listen to me." I was feeling like I could saying to anyone and I will still get the same result which was nothing at all.
In the second line, I felt like I wasn't doing nothing at all. Even I was in my own world at the time. In the third and final line, I was working on coyrighting my music on the internet, and also publishing my music as well. So even though I wasn't doing anything, I was accomplishing everything in my music.

Make it a joke

Making a joke out of a problem or situation ultimately lets you emotionally distance yourself from the reality of restrictions, results, or consequences. Sometimes that's all you really need to be creative.
Another way to look at your  situation, or problem that you're trying to solve. Is to sit back take a break, and see whats your take of the situation. Specially if you're looking at it in a comical view. Laughter is good to poke fun at yourself, and what you're doing. And maybe if you do that for a while you may find something that might help solve your problem.

Go cook something

Cooking enables you to relax your mind by focusing you on a single task. It also excites the part of your brain that is used for creative planning and problem solving. Plus, you'll end up with something to eat!
So true that this idea is cooking does get you to think about something else specially if your hungry. While after your cooking, or even getting ready to cook. You could use your creativity to find, or even create something to eat for yourself, for someone else, maybe for your family, or kids. And at that time let your creativity go wild and see what you can create with what you have. And while at the same time you could think of your idea, or project that your working outside of cooking. And after that your done you can finish it. Or my best idea is also, if your like me I have a lot of ideas that to me, while yet I can execute it, if I'm cooking or whatever I'm doing at the time. So have some kind of way that you can jot done the ideas and then use them later when you have the time. So again, cook and let your creativity come out and see what you can create.

Quit worrying

Rather than trying to get into the creative flow, what if you just relaxed and focused on doing some work? What if you simply let your creativity flow naturally, when it's ready?
I agree with this creativity tip, like another blog post that I had. keeping yourself occupied will usually for at least for me will put a  strike a spark in your creativity. But the thing is if you know that you are gonna good idea, or make something happening in a good way with your creativity then don't worry about it. It will happen it. Believe in yourself, and it will come.

Free write

20130619-200438.jpg

Free write is to me a good way to tell if writing is your forte or not. To me ignore the time limit. And just write as much as possible and see what you come up with, and again don't worry about the spelling or the grammar just write and see what you come up with and maybe amazed with what you come up with.

Cluster each step

20130611-224518.jpg

Cluster Each Step reminds me of a app that I have just downloaded called “Mindix”. In this app you literally brainstorm your ideas together. Be able to keep the pics, texts, and I believe even audio to your brainstorming ideas which I think is cool. So pretty much that’s what Cluster Each Step is. So basically to me it is brainstorming.
