A new start, Beginning, and adventure

As of lately I have been doing a lot of writing as of late, I have decided to write my first novel. I have never knew how much work this will all take but to me it will all be worth it at the end when it is said and done.  Also I have also started a new blog on this site as well. And here is what I want to get accomplished on my new blog.

About the blog: rough drafts, non edited, entries of my new book. Random entry of the book will posted.

Readers, and followers could join. Start a community that everyone could enjoy. Also have other people join in with their stories as well. Also welcoming a lot of opinions as well, and advice. "I know that I'm going to need it." Thanks for my new, and current followers on this blog.

Act the part

Your behavior may be affecting how you work, so act like a professional would. As New York Times best-selling author A.J. Jacobs once said: "Act your way into a new way of thinking, rather than trying to think your way into a new way of acting."

What A.J. Jacobs had meant in his quote is try to reinvent yourself in the way you are thinking, rather than figuring out how you should act in your current situation. For instance, if you are a blog writer and you like writing in your blog. Try this: Find a new way to keep your blog posts current, and always coming up with new stories to tell. And another is maybe you might get a little tired of writing about the same thing over, and over again. Try to venture off to another topic without going to far off your subject.

Word shuffle

First write a few random words on some index cards or small pieces of paper, one word for each. Then mix them up and place two side-by-side. Try as hard as you can to come up with a new idea from the two resulting words.

This creative idea is great in so many ways, and you never how people really use this idea to come up with some of their ideas. Song writers, authors, poets, and I use on a daily basis, but my problem I can't remember everything that I come up with LOL. But like I was saying everyone is most likely to be using this creative idea themselves. So why not you. Give a try to see what you come up with.

Heyku 10

Well for anyone that has the app, or even used it before knows what I'm about to say then. When writing this Heyku, I was using the writer helper and the first thing that I was asked was "What do you smell?" Lol and of course I didn't smell anything. So that's exactly what I had put. And it was 11:42 pm that night, and was ready to put  some work in musically.

Write about being stuck

Write about what you think is keeping you from getting in the flow and what it feels like. Writing down your reasons for being out of the flow is an easy way to find potential ways to get in it.

Basically, write it out everything that is keeping you from moving from point A to point B in your project. And maybe while your writing it out the solution may come to after all that so give it try to see what happens.

Write about being stuck

Write about what you think is keeping you from getting in the flow and what it feels like. Writing down your reasons for being out of the flow is an easy way to find potential ways to get in it.

Writing things out like this most likely will get your creative juices flowing. I know it does for me, this is why I like writing things out. And writing what could be your problems, and concerns can help cause you also help you solve your own problems by writing them out.

Focus on the process

Focus on your process, rather than the results you are looking for. Ask yourself: "How can I change my process to be more creative?" Or: "Am I stuck because of the process I am using?"

I remember the old times before the internet had came out and everything in the 1990's right when I graduated from high school. Alot of creative people had ran into roadblocks in their creative thinking. Or writer's block also known as, but thanks to the internet, and other creative people, and developers and stuff like that, and what not. Alot of these people had came up with alot of creative ideas that alot of people, and creative people alike or anyone at that mattter from having writer's block. Look at me for instance I had started writing this blog like 2 to 3 years ago. And I did it for the nature of pushing, grinding, and promoting my music. And it has helped to some aspect for people to get to know me as a musician, but also it has put me out there as a author as well. Which I don't have no problems being either. But if it wasn't for the internet I probably wouldn't get that great right now without it. So the moral to this story is that with so many ways to come up with creative ideas. There should'nt be many people having it, but also be imaginative and use more than one way to come up with your creative ideas. You never know what you'll find if you don't try.

Write it out in stages

Write one sentence explaining your problem or situation, make it elegant. Then write two sentences. Then a paragraph. Then a page. Elaborating on your situation one stage at a time can help unveil what to do next.

This creative idea is saying to write out whatever the idea that you have. It doesn't matter to me it's elegant or not. The point is that the point is put out there so you can understand it. And then either talk to yourself the other stages of the problem of the idea, and also either write it out on paper or whatever as long as the idea gets across to you. If you are sharing it with other people that they can understand  your ideas as well. And maybe you or your other collegues or whoever is helping you with this project or idea can build off these ideas.

Free write

Free write is to me a good way to tell if writing is your forte or not. To me ignore the time limit. And just write as much as possible and see what you come up with, and again don't worry about the spelling or the grammar just write and see what you come up with and maybe amazed with what you come up with.
